Find archives and restore deleted items
Recover eligible wiki pages and reports, and find closed work in its original module.
The server’s trash/archive area brings together several different situations. A former member, a closed position and a deleted page do not recover in the same way.
| Item | Available action |
|---|---|
| Former, nonblacklisted staff member | Reinstate the existing profile. |
| Closed or paused recruitment position | Reopen it. |
| Rejected application | Read the historical record. |
| Deleted wiki page | Restore within the displayed deadline, up to 30 days after deletion. |
| Deleted report | Restore within the displayed deadline, up to 30 days after deletion. |
Tabs and actions depend on staff, recruitment, wiki or sanction permissions and module availability.
Restore a wiki page or report
Section titled “Restore a wiki page or report”Open the correct server’s trash, choose wiki pages or reports, search or browse for the item, and check who deleted it, when and its restoration deadline. Restore, wait for confirmation, then inspect the content and permissions in the original module.
The thirty-day clock starts at deletion and does not reset when you reload. After the deadline, restoration is unavailable. This trash is not a recovery mechanism for every data type: do not assume deleted tasks, announcements or applications can be restored here.
If another person already restored it, refresh and check the module before retrying.
Reinstate or reopen
Section titled “Reinstate or reopen”For a former staff member, reinstate the existing profile and check status, rank, panel access, department assignments and Discord roles. Blacklisted members require a separate authorized review in Staff.
For a closed position, reopen it and check its deadline, form and contents before sharing the public link again. Reading a rejected application does not reverse the rejection.
Find completed work
Section titled “Find completed work”Closed tickets remain in ticket archives. Completed tasks remain in the completed list and Done column. Changes can be traced through the activity log with appropriate permissions.
Clear filters and check access before recreating a missing record.
The departure date is the recorded departure, independent of later profile edits. Older records with no reliable date show “—”. After restoring an item from the trash, Open restored item takes you directly to it.
