Organization chart and public team page

Read the internal structure and review what visitors can see on your public page.

The internal Org chart displays your staff structure. The Public page presents selected team information to visitors without a StaffNest account. They serve different audiences.

Read the organization chart

With Manage departments and functions, open Org chart, choose the rank or department view, and search for a member, rank, department or function. Compact view helps with large teams. Select a person to open their profile. The available information and actions depend on your permissions.

Rank order follows configured rank levels. Members assigned to several departments appear in each. Unassigned people are shown separately. A department manager may remain visible during a search to preserve context.

Activity indicators follow staff profile rules; they are not Discord online presence. The chart cannot be reorganized by dragging cards: change the person’s rank or department assignments instead.

Enable a public team page

With settings access:

Open Settings → General → Public page.
Enable it and optionally set a custom link.
Save, open the displayed public URL and review the result before sharing.

A custom link must be available and contain 3–30 lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens. Without one, the URL uses the server identifier.

The public page may show display names, avatars, ranks, join dates and open recruitment positions. It does not publish internal notes, sanctions, absences or panel permissions.

The member selection uses the profile’s saved Active status, excluding blacklisted people. That differs from activity calculated from the latest recorded action. A profile can therefore be publicly listed while the directory shows an inactivity indicator. On-leave, warned, inactive and former profile statuses are not published by this view.

Review or remove public access

Check the page as a visitor and correct the source profile or appearance settings if necessary. Disable the public page and save when it should no longer be available. This does not close separately published recruitment forms.
