Servers and invitations
Join an existing team, switch communities and understand what invitation links do.
Each StaffNest server has its own staff, ranks, permissions, tasks and settings. You can use the same Discord account in several communities, with different responsibilities in each.
Join an existing team
Section titled “Join an existing team”Ask the manager to create or import your staff profile using your Discord ID. Sign in with that same Discord account, then open the community in My servers.
A manager can share an Invite link from Staff. It is valid for seven days and helps attach your account to an existing profile. It does not create a new staff profile for every visitor or grant administrator access. Former and blacklisted profiles cannot be restored through an invitation.
If the link expires, ask for a new one. If it is refused, check the account you signed in with and have the manager verify your ID, profile and access.
Switch servers
Section titled “Switch servers”- Choose My servers in the navigation.
- Open the desired community with Manage server.
- Check the server name before changing a task, member or setting.
Panel searches and module filters concern the open server. Your rank and panel role in one community do not carry across to another.
Connect another community
Section titled “Connect another community”If you own or can manage another Discord server, use Add a server and authorize the bot for that server. Check that it is not already managed by another StaffNest owner. Reinviting the bot does not transfer an existing workspace’s ownership.
Follow the first-setup guide and configure each server separately. Install the bot in every Discord server that should use its features.
A server or profile is missing
Section titled “A server or profile is missing”Check your signed-in Discord account and the server’s staff record. A bot invitation and panel membership are separate. Ask an authorized manager to inspect Former, Blacklist and any active directory filters. Reusing an invitation does not override a removal or blacklist.
For a handover to a new owner, use Transfer ownership. For connection problems, use Troubleshooting.
